Firstly, thank you for publishing the letter, you may follow the further discussion at http://normreport.com/ as it progresses.
Secondly – and most importantly:
The article begins with:
Expert’s open letter rebutting Fuziah: An international consultant on radiation protection has slammed Kuantan member of parliament Fuziah Salleh for misleading her constituents with flawed and inaccurate technical comments on the proposed Lynas rare earth plant.
I must point out that this is gross over-exaggeration of what the intention of the letter actually was:
- There was no intention on my part to do what the headline says, none whatsoever – and the text of the letter itself unmistakably confirms.
- My only desire was and still is: to clarify the technical issues and offer my assistance in their correct interpretation to the ‘technical team’ – both in writing and in any forums as it may be required.
I will appreciate very much if three lines above are also published as a follow-up.
Dear Madam Fuziah Salleh,
I sincerely hope that I have made myself perfectly clear in my message to the NST above, and that we can continue the dialog in writing and, hopefully, could meet in person for a productive discussion at a later stage. Please feel free to place the above on your Internet site, as required.
